A Montour Falls man is facing weapons charges in neighboring Chemung County.
Norman Wead, Junior, was arrested Monday following a domestic dispute in the town of Catlin. Wead was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, menacing, and criminal mischief in connection with the incident. Police did not release any further details.
Following his arraignment, the 52-year-old was released on an appearance ticket for Catlin Town Court.
An Order of Protection was granted on behalf of the victim.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
