A Florida man has been charged with assault following an incident at the Steuben County Fair.
According to Bath Police, during a physical altercation with the victim, 44-year-old Andrew Mckinney, of Fort Pierce, Florida, allegedly struck the victim in the face, causing physical injury. After speaking with both parties and witnesses, McKinney was arrested for misdemeanor assault.
Mckinney was released on an appearance ticket for Bath Village Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
