The Seneca County Board of Supervisors appointed Melissa Taylor as deputy county manager this week. Taylor received a round of applause from those in attendance and the Board of Supervisors after the resolution to hire her was unanimously approved. She then addressed everyone in attendance.
“I just want to say thank you all for this opportunity,” said Taylor. “Being here 17 years, next month, I’ve loved almost every minute of being here, to be honest. I really love it here, love the community, love the people that I work with, and I’m ready to get to work.”
The county has been without a full-time manager since June 2024, with Board Chair Mike Enslow filling in.
