The City of Geneva Police Department’s Detective Bureau has identified a person and vehicle of interest related to the early morning shooting that happened on Lower Seneca Street last Friday.
According to detectives, the male suspect fled the scene and was seen heading east toward the Seneca Apartments. Surveillance footage shows the suspect entering a white 2010-2013 Cadillac CTS four-door sedan near the Franklin Street parking lot. The vehicle, which had a sunroof, then left the area traveling west on Route 5 and 20.
Police are asking the public to help locate this specific Cadillac CTS and to provide any information that could assist in identifying the suspect.
The person of interest is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’4” to 5’6” tall, around 28 to 30 years old, with a medium build and a thick black beard. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts, and carrying a “Sling bag” across his upper body.
The victim in the case suffered a gunshot wound to the lower body and was taken to Strong for non-life-threatening injuries
