A Monroe County grand jury has indicted 32-year-old Kyshonn Green on second-degree murder charges in connection with the fatal shooting of a co-worker at the Wegmans warehouse in Gates.

Green was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Knoxville, Tennessee, on July 27, one day after the deadly incident. Channel 10 in Rochester reported Monday that its NBC affiliate in Knoxville reported that Green is being transported back to the Rochester area. Authorities have yet to confirm his arrival.

The shooting occurred around 4 p.m. on July 26 inside the warehouse during work hours. When police arrived, they found 25-year-old J’Mere Ridley-Smith dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

Gates Police confirmed that no other employees were threatened during the incident.
