A woman is facing charges after allegedly stealing merchandise from a store in Victor.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Olena Romanu was arrested on Friday, following a shoplifting complaint at Von Maur. Investigators say Romanu passed all points of sale without paying for about $121 worth of items.
She was released and is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
