A Seneca Falls man is facing multiple charges following an encounter with police during a bicycle stop.
On Friday, Seneca Falls Police arrested 36-year-old Paul Sturiale after he was observed failing to keep right while riding a bicycle. During the stop, police say Sturiale resisted arrest and obstructed their investigation.
He was charged with:
- Failure to Keep Right on a Bicycle
- Resisting Arrest
- Obstructing Governmental Administration
Sturiale was released with an appearance ticket and is set to answer the charges at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
