A Marion man is facing charges after allegedly violating a court-issued order of protection.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports that 37-year-old Justin Krocke was arrested following a domestic incident in the Town of Marion. Deputies say Krocke violated the terms of a Stay Away Order of Protection, leading to a charge of Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree.
Krocke was taken into custody and transported to the Wayne County Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment in Centralized Arraignment Court on August 3rd at 7:00 a.m.
He is scheduled to appear in Marion Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
