Tompkins County Native Fatally Stabbed in San Francisco

SHARE NOW

A Tompkins County man who moved to California was fatally stabbed in San Francisco last weekend.

Colden Kimber, a graduate of the Dryden Central School District, was attacked on July 26th while waiting at a bus stop in the city’s Taraval District. San Francisco police say they responded just after 4 p.m. to the intersection of Ocean and Lee avenues, where they found Kimber suffering from a stab wound. He was taken to the hospital but did not survive.

Authorities have arrested a 29-year-old man in connection with the attack and charged him with homicide.

A GoFundMe created by friends says Kimber was waiting at the bus stop with his girlfriend when the unprovoked attack happened in front of families and children.
