On July 30th at approximately 3:57 p.m., members of the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office conducted a routine traffic stop near the Woodville Boat Launch.
During the stop, officers discovered that the driver and sole occupant, 43-year-old Elaine Hallancia, of Tennessee, was operating a vehicle with a suspended license. Her license suspension stems from a conviction in Tennessee earlier this year.
Hallancia is expected to appear in South Bristol Town Court at a later date to respond to the charge.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
