A 22-year-old Marion man was arrested by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office on charges of criminal mischief.
The arrest follows a domestic incident during which Luca Gruttadaurio allegedly intentionally damaged property belonging to another person and then fled the scene. He was later located and taken into custody.
Gruttadaurio was transported to the Wayne County Jail and awaited central arraignment. An order of protection was requested for the victim during the arraignment.
Gruttadaurio is scheduled to appear in Marion Town Court at a later date for further proceedings.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
