A woman was hospitalized after rear-ending a school bus in the Town of Manchester on Wednesday.
Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the intersection of County Road 7 and State Route 96 for a two-vehicle crash with injuries. According to deputies, Tina Orlopp, of Newark, was traveling south on County Road 7 when she failed to stop and struck the rear of a Manchester School District bus that was stopped at a red light.
No students were on board the bus at the time of the crash. Orlopp was taken to Clifton Springs Hospital after reporting chest pain.
She was issued a ticket for following too closely.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
