Seabreeze Amusement Park in Rochester says a ride operator has been let go after failing to properly secure safety restraints on a kiddie ride.
An internal investigation confirmed the issue, but park officials say the ride was safely stopped before it left the station, allowing staff to secure the restraints before proceeding.
In a statement, Seabreeze said the incident was a clear violation of safety protocols and emphasized its ongoing commitment to safe, family fun. The park thanked the guest who reported the issue and said the family chose to stay and enjoy the rest of their visit.
