UPDATE: Property owners on four roads in the town of Waterloo have approved the creation of a new water district. The proposition passed Wednesday by a vote of 52 to 33, allowing the Town Board to move forward with the Edwards, Brewer, Hecker, and Packwood Roads Water District. The vote confirms support for the construction of new water lines and related infrastructure, establishes the district boundaries, and approves the funding plan for both the initial improvements and ongoing maintenance.

The proposition asks property owners to approve the Town Board’s recent establishment of the Edwards, Brewer, Hecker, and Packwood Roads Water District. The vote will determine support for the construction of new water lines and related infrastructure, the proposed district boundaries, and the funding plan for both initial improvements and ongoing maintenance.
Voting will take place from noon to 8 p.m. at the Waterloo Town Hall..
