A two-vehicle crash in Seneca Falls Monday evening left one person hospitalized and briefly shut down part of Garden Street.
According to the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department, the crash happened around 5:40 p.m. when a northbound vehicle failed to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic and collided with a second vehicle. The impact caused the second vehicle to roll over.
Both occupants of the rolled vehicle sustained minor injuries and were evaluated at the scene by EMS. The driver of the first vehicle was transported by ambulance to Geneva General Hospital for further treatment.
Garden Street was closed for a short time while emergency crews worked at the scene. The Seneca Falls Fire Department and North Seneca Ambulance assisted police with the response.
