Two Canandaigua men have been charged with criminal mischief following a vandalism incident at a South Main Street business.
According to police, 37-year-old Cassius Wright and 32-year-old Gregory Button were arrested after an investigation into damaged property reported on June 18. The damage involved potted plants located outside the business.
Both men were charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and released with appearance tickets. They are scheduled to appear in Canandaigua City Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
