A local man is facing drug charges after being arrested by the Seneca Falls Police Department earlier this week.
According to police, 42-year-old Shawn Standbrook was taken into custody on July 2 and charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, a misdemeanor.
Standbrook was released at the scene with appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
