A Seneca Falls man is facing multiple charges, including a felony driving offense, after being stopped by police on Saturday morning.
According to the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department, 29-year-old Jacob Hubbs was arrested at approximately 10:45 a.m. following a traffic stop. An investigation determined that Hubbs was allegedly operating a vehicle while impaired by drugs. Due to a prior conviction within the past ten years, the charge was elevated to a felony.
In addition to Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs (Felony), Hubbs was also charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the First Degree and Failure to Use a Designated Lane.
Hubbs was released with an appearance ticket and traffic citations. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court at a later date to answer the charges.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
