Bath Man Arrested on Felony Warrant

SHARE NOW

Bath Police took an 18-year-old Bath man into custody who was wanted on an active felony warrant.

Officers spotted Justice Crooks sitting outside of a residence on Geneva Street, whom officers knew to have an active warrant. Crooks had an active warrant for felony criminal contempt. The warrant stemmed from an alleged incident that occurred on June 16th at the Finger Lakes Inn and Suites in the village of Bath. Crooks allegedly violated an Order of Protection during a disturbance that evening. According to Bath PD, Crooks has been previously convicted of criminal contempt.

Crooks was brought to Steuben County Jail for CAP arraignment. He was released on an appearance ticket.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
