Two people were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital after being involved in an accident in Ontario County on Thursday morning.
An investigation by the Sheriff’s Department found that a 2024 Ford Edge driven southbound on Kyte Road in the town of Victor failed to stop at a posted stop sign and struck a Subaru Forester that was headed west on State Route 96. Both drivers, Victoria Trimble, of Webster, and Lauren Guerrera, of Shortsville, were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital by Finger Lakes Ambulance for precautionary evaluation.
Trimble was ticketed for Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
