A Canandaigua man was arrested by Canandaigua Police for allegedly driving drunk in a golf cart.
Michael Lesak was arrested following a traffic stop on North Main Street. It is alleged that shortly before 4 o’clock on the morning on June 13th, Lesak was spotted by police driving the golf car on North Main without its headlights and tailights in use. According to police, Lesak failed his sobriety tests and was placed under arrest.
Lesak was released on an appearance ticket for Canandaigua City Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
