The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a man on a felony bench warrant.
Kevin Cave, who is listed as being homeless, was located at the Ontario County Complex in Hopewell and was taken into custody. The felony bench warrant was issued out of Ontario County Court after he allegedly failed to appear before the court on a guilty plea for burglary.
Cave was brought to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
