A Rochester woman was arrested Saturday by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant issued out of Victor Town Court.
Melanie Caicedo was taken into custody on the warrant charging her with failure to appear on a charge of petit larceny.
The 29-year-old was transported to the Ontario County Jail by Monroe County authorities and was jailed to await CAP Court action.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
