A traffic stop on State Route 5 conducted by the Seneca Falls Police Department on Saturday resulted in the arrest of a Seneca Falls man.
Baudilio Ramirez was initially stopped for not having a front plate affixed to the car. During a roadside investigation, officers determined that Ramirez was allegedly driving the vehicle while he was intoxicated. The 20-year-old also didn’t possess a driver’s license.
Ramirez was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or more, operating a motor vehicle under the age of 21 after consuming alcohol, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and no front license plate.
Ramirez was released on an appearance ticket for Seneca Falls Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
