A Lyons man is facing charges after he allegedly failed to stop for police during a traffic stop.
On Saturday, deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on 19-year-old Cayden Hallock on State Route 14 in Sodus for speeding. Hallock failed to stop for deputies, despite having their emergency lights and siren activated. Hallock finally stopped and was taken into custody on charges of fleeing an officer in a motor vehicle, speeding, reckless driving and driving left of pavement markings.
Hallock was released on appearance tickets for Sodus Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
