A Geneva man was arrested on two active bench warrants issued out of Geneva City Court for failure to appear in court.
The warrants for Kaja Kennedy claim he failed to appear on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal impersonation, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, interlock violation and no headlights.
Following his arrest, Kennedy was held to await CAP arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
