A Wayne County woman is facing charges following an investigation into a traffic stop that occurred on State Route 104 in the town of Huron.
Deputies arrested 33-year-old Kylene Egleston for driving a motor vehicle impaired by drugs, speeding, an uninspected motor vehicle, and criminal possession of a controlled substance. The charges stem from an investigation into a traffic stop that resulted in a DWAI investigation.
Egleston was then transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, where deputies conducted a DRE evaluation that showed the Sodus woman was allegedly impaired due to consuming a substance.
Egleston was brought to the Wayne County Jail for processing and released on appearance tickets for Huron Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
