A Bloomfield man was arrested by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant issued out of West Bloomfield Town Court.
62-year-old Rae Latchford was located at his home on State Routes 5 and 20 and was taken into custody without incident. The warrant was issued for Latchford after he allegedly failed to appear in Bloomfield Town Court on several DEC charges.
Latchford was transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he was held to await CAP Court arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
