The investigation into a Wednesday afternoon accident in the area of North Street and Turnpike roads in the town of Sennett resulted in the arrest of a Victory woman.
Upon arrival on the scene, deputies located the car off the road and with no one inside. During the investigation, it was determined that the driver, Susan Maund, was driving while intoxicated. Maund was charged with DWI First Offense and DWI with a BAC of .08 or higher.
Maund was released on appearance tickets for Sennett Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
