Police in Palmyra report the arrest of a Rcochester man following a traffic stop in the village.
Elhadj Kante is accused of driving on a suspended licensed and having an outstand warrant. During a search of the car Kante was driving, officers discovered tabs of LSD, a large sum of cash, and a syringe with an unknown substance.
Kante was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
