A Lyons man is facing charges in Ontario County following the investigation into a one-car crash that occurred on Outlet Road in the town of Manchester on Wednesday.
An investigation by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office determined Shane Bohrer had failed to keep right and went off the south side of the road, down an embankment, before colliding with several trees. During the investigation, deputies determined Bohrer had been driving his vehicle while impaired by drugs.
Bohrer was charged with DWAI, DWI, and Failure to Keep Right. He will appear in Manchester Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
Bohrer was checked over at the scene by Finger Lakes Ambulance and released.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
