A Farmington resident was arrested on a charge of criminal contempt by the city of Canandaigua Police Department.
Dustin Duffy allegedly attempted to engage another person in conversation who had an active stay-away order of protection against him.
The 37-year-old was transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
