The report of a harassment at a Bristol Street residence in the city of Canandaigua resulted in the arrest of a Canandaigua man.
Pursuant to the investigation by Canandaigua Police, it was determined that John Kirby had entered the home of another person without permission and refused to leave after being told to. After the 53-year-old was escorted from the home by police, he allegedly threatened to kill the victim by text message.
Kirby was charged with criminal trespass and aggravated harassment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
