A Shortsville woman was arrested Monday on a charge of petit larceny.
Following an investigation by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Madison Kiefer was taken into custody for a shoplifting incident at Walmart in Hopewell.
The 26-year-old was released on an appearance ticket for Hopewell Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
