Members of the Ontario and Yates County Rope Rescue Teams spent most of their Memorial Day rescuing two teens who fell more than 30 feet while hiking at Clark Gully in the High Tor Wildlife Management Area in Yates County.
Members of the Dundee Fire Department’s Rope Rescue Team were summoned to the scene just after 2 o’clock to assist with the Middlesex and Naples Fire Departments. It took nearly seven hours for the rescue teams to bring both teens to an area where ambulance crews were staging. Both were airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
