A traffic stop conducted by Seneca Falls Police resulted in the arrest of a Seneca Falls resident.
Pravo Atherly’s arrest stems from a traffic stop where the 46-year-old allegedly failed to exercise due care when passing a marked patrol car with its emergency lights on. After further investigation, it was learned that Atherly was also driving in an impaired condition by means of marijuana. Atherly was placed into custody and charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, along with a traffic citation.
Atherly was issued an appearance ticket and will be back in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
