The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 26-year-old man on five separate bench warrants.
Joseph Gonzalez was arrested on Sunday on warrants that were issued for failures to appear for court dates, and all of which were for prior petit larceny charges for separate businesses throughout the Town of Lyons.
Gonzalez was arrested on all bench warrants and was sent to Wayne County Jail following his arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
