The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 26-year-old man on an active bench warrant.
The arrest of Christopher Natrigo stems from his alleged failure to appear in Hopewell Town Court on a previous charge of stalking. Natrigo was located by State Police in Monroe County and was transferred to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Natrigo was taken to the Ontario County Jail for pre-arraignment detention and will return to Hopewell Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
