Cayuga County Legislator Stephanie DeVito of Auburn, who was elected to represent the 10th district in 2023, has resigned.
The Citizen reports she submitted her resignation last week. Devito says she “accepted a career opportunity outside of my district and will be relocating.” She is the office manager at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Syracuse.
DeVito was the executive director of the Auburn Downtown Business Improvement District when she decided to run for county Legislature in 2023.
