The investigation into a two-car property damage accident at County Road 129 and Center Road in the town of Ovid resulted in the arrest of one of the drivers.
73-year-old Robert Congdon was charged with driving while intoxicated, common law, and driving while intoxicated BAC .08% or higher. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident.
Congdon is scheduled to appear in Ovid Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
