White Springs Fire Association responded to a report of a possible brush fire after receiving a dispatch call earlier this week. Chief 310, along with Engine 3111 and Engine 3112, were sent to the location provided by the caller.
Upon arrival, Chief 310 determined that the fire was actually within the jurisdiction of the West Lake Road Fire Association, Inc. West Lake Road was promptly notified and responded with Engine 2911.
Crews from both departments worked collaboratively to contain and extinguish multiple burning compost piles and a brush pile. Thanks to the coordinated response, the fire was successfully brought under control without further incident.
