A Rochester woman was arrested by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office on a petit larceny charge.
The arrest occurred after Angela Carlton allegedly concealed clothing items from Kohl’s in Victor in a bag and left the store without making payment.
The 61-year-old was taken to the Ontario County Jail, where she is being held to await arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
