A former staff member of the Lyons School District is the subject of an active criminal investigation.
In a story first reported by Channel 8 in Rochester, the unidentified employee resigned and was escorted out of Lyons High School by a school resource officer. In a statement to the television station, the district acknowledged it had been made aware of an incident involving the former employee and confirmed the person is no longer employed. While deputies have confirmed an investigation is underway, they have not released further details about the nature of the allegations.
