An incident that occurred at a home on Main Street in Red Creek resulted in the arrest of a Lyons woman.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, Chelsea Hosmer was present at an apartment and violated a duly served stay-away order of protection, protecting the victim at the residence.
Hosmer was arrested on a criminal contempt charge and released on an appearance ticket.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
