Talks will be getting underway that could lead to the merger of two Wayne County School districts.
The school boards for the Marion and Williamson school districts voted unanimously yesterday approving a feasibility study for a potential reorganization.
It comes as both districts face potential budget shortfalls as payroll and health care costs continue to rise.
Once the study is complete, voters would have to approve any potential merger.
