A Rochester man has been arrested for his role in a burglary that happened two years ago at Filer’s Powersports in Macedon.
Police say 23-year-old Dimetris Burgos and several others carried out a “smash and grab,” ramming a vehicle into a garage door to steal multiple dirt bikes—returning a second time for more. Burgos was charged with grand larceny, criminal mischief, burglary, and conspiracy after his DNA was found at the scene.
Burgos was released following his arraignment at Wayne County Jail.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
