With the high price of eggs, some people are thinking about raising their own egg-laying chickens.
Ontario County Cornell Cooperative Extension is offering a chicken raising workshop for the whole family this Saturday at 10am.
They will be serving a light egg breakfast and will have fun hands-on activities for kids, including live chicks, and adults will get all the information they need to start a backyard flock.
