A Rochester resident was arrested early Monday morning by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office for driving while intoxicated.
The arrest of Vath Thoeun stems from a traffic stop where Thoeun’s car was observed by deputies failing to stop at a stop light. Upon further investigation, Thoeun was subsequently arrested for driving while intoxicated after field sobriety tests were administered.
Thoeun was released on an appearance ticket for Tyre Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
