Three fundraisers this weekend for Ovid residents displaced by last month’s block fire.
Saturday 2/15 from 12pm-6pm at Ovid Federated Church will be a $5 bag sale of new and gently used items, with all proceeds being given to the Ovid Fire Relief Fund. These were donations the Church received in the initial aftermath of the fire, that individuals and families who were displaced have had opportunities to go through.
Also on Saturday 2/15 from 4-6pm at Ovid Federated is a Ziti Dinner and Bake Sale being hosted by local Girl Scout Troops to raise money for the Fire Relief Fund. Dinners are $12 each.
On Sunday 2/16 from 1-4pm is “Pour One Out for Ovid” at Knapp Winery featuring tastings for nearly 20 different local wineries, and music by native Ed Iseley. Raffles, light fare, and more.
Suggested ticket donation is $20.
