Cayuga County Sheriff’s Deputies and a Cayuga County family are looking for a man who was last seen in December. 21-year-old Thomas “Tommy” Ivery was last seen near his Port Byron apartment on December 14th.
Ivery’s case is both a missing person investigation as well as a violation of probation investigation. Deputies have filed an active missing person’s report and a bench warrant for violation of probation for him.
Ivery was arrested after pulling out a BB gun at Auburn Junior High in 2023. He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, endangering the welfare of a child, menacing and unlawful possession of a weapon on school grounds.
He was last seen wearing a white jacket and was with his Black Labrador. The dog was later found in Auburn.
